Cyeza School's big water tank

Here are four pictures of the water tank being installed at Cyeza School. This tank has been funded by the New Elizabethan Singers of Bridport and also by some of our West Dorset Primary Schools, notably Salway Ash and Loders. The tank holds 10 cubic metres, which is a lot of water! We hope the final work (fitting taps and pipework in the concrete collecting area - see bottom picture - will be finished by the end of this week. Then all we'll need is two or three torrential tropical downpours and the tank will be full to last the school through the dry season which is just starting. The box-shaped thing on the top is a filter to keep out leaves, insects, bird poo etc. I'll send some more pictures when it is completely finished and in use. In the meantime, Jacqueline and Jeanne d'Arc, the headteachers of the Secondary and Primary sections respectively, have asked me to thank everyone in Bridport. "God Bless you all, and thank you for helping us".
