Postcards from Nyabinoni - 3

A nice mid-morning shot down to the river, taken from the driveway to the Presbytery.
One of our favourites. Evening light on the edge of the Ndiza mountains just behind the school. Everything is glowing. On Wednesday evening we walked two thirds of the way to the top of the mountains.

A moody sunset shot over the school roof, looking almost towards Goma in the Congo.
Another late afternoon view; it emphasizes the rows and rows of hills. "Pays de Mille Collines" is exactly the right description.

One of my favourites. The road from Nyabinoni to Bubaji twists and turns on a roughly level course round spur after spur of mountainside. You can see why the road distance between two villages is so much greater than the straight line distance.
