My friend Apollinaire, the new headteacher of Groupe Scolaire Buramba. The rooms behind him are waiting to be refurbished and will become the rooms for next year's secondary intake.
Nice new buildings house the tronc commun section at Buramba. The older building on the left is used as a store.
All schools have signboards, usually with three-word slogans. Here is Buramba's.
The rear of the classrooms, with flower beds and water tank. N.B. the school says that even this 10,000 litre tank (like the ones I've been putting in other schools) isn't sufficient to last them all the long dry season.
Breaktime on the grass.
